About Evie

Hi, I’m Evie!

I’m a Community-Based Certified Full-Spectrum Doula, proudly trained through HealthConnect One. I’m passionate about birth, postpartum care, advocacy, education, and helping families feel informed, respected, and supported during one of life’s most meaningful transitions.

As a mother of four, I understand firsthand that every pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience is unique. My own experiences have deepened my compassion for mothers and families and strengthened my passion for supporting them through this important transition.

My approach to doula care is rooted in compassion, education, advocacy, and nonjudgmental support. I believe every family deserves someone in their corner who will listen, provide information, honor their choices, and remind them that they don't have to navigate this journey alone.

Supporting Maternal Mental Health

Women’s mental health during pregnancy and the postpartum period is especially important to me. I hold a Mental Health First Aid certification through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, which has strengthened my ability to recognize potential signs of mental health and substance-use challenges and respond with appropriate support and resources.

During the fourth trimester, I provide a compassionate, judgment-free space where parents can talk openly about how they are feeling, adjust to the changes of new parenthood, and receive encouragement and practical support. I can also help families recognize when additional professional support may be appropriate and connect them with qualified providers and community resources.

As a doula, I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions, but I believe that listening, education, early recognition, and connection to appropriate care can make a meaningful difference. No parent should feel that they have to struggle silently.

A Little More About Me

I have a particular interest in women’s reproductive health and the hormonal transitions that occur throughout a woman’s life, from the reproductive years through perimenopause and menopause. I enjoy researching these topics and learning more about nutrition, wellness, hormone therapy, peptide therapy, healthy aging, skincare, and healthy eating habits. I’m passionate about women having access to information and resources that help them advocate for themselves and make informed decisions with their healthcare providers.

I also love fresh fruits and smoothies, travel, photography, gardening, antique shopping, and restoring vintage Coach handbags. I enjoy creating my own body butters and facial oils, painting furniture, and spending time with family and friends.

Music is a big part of my life. I enjoy everything from classical, jazz, and Spanish guitar to opera, 80s and 90s R&B, pop, freestyle, and techno. And yes—I still haven't figured out how to appreciate country music! 😊

When I'm not working or exploring one of my latest interests, I enjoy quiet time reading, researching, antique shopping, and simply slowing down.

At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief:

Knowledge is empowering, and people thrive when they feel supported, heard, and respected.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I hope you find something valuable throughout my website, and I would be honored to be part of your journey.

I look forward to getting to know you and your family.

Evie provided superb support during my postpartum period, offering valuable information, education and a smooth transition into parenthood. Our first born right after marriage was intense. I had a lot going on. We highly recommend her!
